Our Team

Bernadette E. Peters, President of EMC, is a Certified Legal Manager (CLM) with more than twenty five years of management and leadership experience.

Ms. Peters as a CLM, is one of only a small percentage of professionals certified in law firm management. She has extensive experience in maximizing profits and reducing expenses in both large and small firms.

Ms. Peters is a cum laude graduate of the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania. She holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and is a graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College where she excelled in strategic planning.

She is a retired Colonel in the US Army Reserves with a background in Civil Affairs, which specializes in disaster relief operations. She was mobilized to Fort Stewart, Georgia before and during the actual fighting phase of Operation Iraqi Freedom where she assumed command of over 12,000 soldiers of the 3d Infantry Division (Rear) and mobilized soldiers supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Ms. Peters is a member of the Society of Human Resource Managers,(SHRM) and the Greater Miami Chapter of SHRM as well as the past President of the Cyber Chapter, and Past President of the South Florida Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators.

EMC's staff is composed of seasoned administrators, each of whom have a minimum of ten years in law firm and small business management. They are proven professionals and have a track record of success, as well as the specialized skills necessary to manage a 21st century business.
